Merel Vercammen appointed Artistic Director of the Emmy Verhey Festival

During a concert at the Emmy Verhey Festival in Zaltbommel, it was announced that Merel Vercammen will become the new artistic director. She succeeds Femke IJlstra, who has successfully expanded and developed the festival in recent years.

Founded by violinist Emmy Verhey, the festival is known for its welcoming atmosphere, free concerts, activities for children, and its dedicated community of volunteers. Merel is looking forward to continuing Emmy’s legacy and curating inspiring programmes for the years to come.
