She succeeds Femke IJlstra, who has successfully expanded and developed the festival in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded by violinist Emmy Verhey, the festival is known for its welcoming atmosphere, free concerts, activities for children, and its dedicated community of volunteers.
